Now combine that dry and wet ingredinets together. Then slowly add in the butter to the batter while mixing until smooth. Once that is combined, allow the batter to rest for 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs with a mixer until light and fluffy and pale in color.
  3. Add the milk and vanilla to the eggs and combine.
  4. Mix the egg mixture into the dry mixture.
  5. Add the butter slowly while mixing, blending until just smooth.
  6. Allow to sit 5 minutes and preheat your waffle iron.
  7. Pour onto hot iron and cook until golden brown.Serve topped with pure maple syrup and butter or your favorite fruit and whipped cream. Should make at least 4 waffles depending on what type of waffle maker you have.
