The whole family, especially kids, can learn to love their veggies with these easy and convenient mix packets, for snacking you can feel good about. My kids are more than likely to eat their veggies if they can dip them in ranch dressing.
I decided to make a kid-friendly pasta salad using Hidden Valley’s new Greek yogurt salad dressing mix, veggies, pasta, ham, and cheese.

Ingredients for Ham and Ranch Pasta Salad

- CHEDDAR CHEESE
- HAM
- GRAPE TOMATOES
- BROCCOLI
- RED ONION
- SLICED OLIVES
- GARLIC
- OREGANO
- PREPARED HIDDEN VALLEY GREEK YOGURT RANDH DRESSING
This Ham and Cheese Ranch Pasta Salad is perfect for your next neighborhood get-together or backyard hangout with the family. My daughter is my most picky eater, and she LOVED this salad. You can always use turkey or chicken in place of the ham, and feel free to substitute the veggies with whatever your family prefers. I used tomatoes, broccoli, and red onion. Then I finished it off with some sliced black olives.
Since the dressing is made with Greek yogurt, I found it to be thicker than I usually like my ranch dressing. I simply added extra milk until it reached the consistency I prefer.

Cook the pasta: Boil 1 pound of bow tie pasta according to the package directions. Once cooked, drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process and cool the pasta down.
Assemble the salad: In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta with cubed cheddar cheese, diced ham, quartered grape tomatoes, broccoli (cut into small florets), diced red onion, and sliced olives.
Add flavor: Finely mince the garlic and stir it in along with dried oregano for a flavorful boost.
Dress and toss: Pour 1 to 1½ cups of prepared Hidden Valley Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing over the salad, starting with 1 cup and adding more if needed. Gently toss everything together until evenly coated and well combined.
Serve: Chill before serving if desired, or serve right away. This hearty, colorful salad makes a fantastic main dish or a crowd-pleasing side!
