This recipe looks fancy but it only takes 4 ingredients to make! This Baked Creamy Caesar Chicken is tender and full of flavor.
The chicken bathes in the creamy sauce as it cooks. I like to serve this along with my Instant Pot mashed potatoes on the side and top the potatoes with some of the creamy sauce. However, rice or noodles would also work well.

If you have smaller chicken breasts you can pound them to make them 1 inch in thickness to cook evenly. You can do this with a meat mallet or rolling pin.
I usually have larger chicken breasts on hand, so I just cut 2 breasts in half lengthwise and they’re the perfect thickness for this recipe. No pounding is necessary.
Ingredients to Make Baked Creamy Caesar Chicken
- BONELESS SKINLESS CHICKEN BREASTS
- CREAMY CAESAR SALAD DRESSING
- SOUR CREAM
- PARMESAN CHEESE

How to Make Baked Creamy Chicken Caesar Chicken
Begin by spraying a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Season your chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Then place them in the baking dish. Make sure to cut the breasts lengthwise if they are large or pound them to about an inch thickness if they are small. You want to make sure they cook evenly.
Next, mix some creamy caesar dressing with some sour cream and shredded parmesan cheese. Take that dressing mixture and spread it over the chicken.
Sprinkle a little more shredded parmesan cheese over the chicken. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes until the chicken reaches and internal temperature of 165 degrees.
That’s it! The chicken will come out of the oven with a nice golden-brown on top. Sprinkle with some fresh parsley for serving. It isn’t necessary but it makes it look nice!

Yes, you can use boneless, skinless chicken thighs for this recipe. Just adjust the baking time accordingly as thighs may cook faster than breasts.
