Now that you have the garlic mashed potatoes, I thought I’d share with you what I did with the steak along side the potatoes. This miner marinade is the marinade recipe I used. It comes from Marci at On My Menu. It’s a marinade she uses a lot and she mentions using it on chicken. I used it on steaks.
Now, I usually always buy petite sirloin steaks. I can usually get them on sale for around $1.99 a pound. They always turn out great and tender. Now for the 4 steaks I cooked and only made half of the marinade recipe. It was great on steaks, I’ll have to try it on chicken next time.

I used this marinade last night on pork chops; I only planned ahead enough for them to marinate about 90 minutes but they still turned out really good! My family loved it. Nice flavor.
Look at those pretty grill marks! This sounds like a simple and delicious marinade. I love steak, though I try not to eat it more than twice a month. I’d eat it every day if I could, though.

Mmmmm…..this marinade sounds delicious. I always love a good steak!
What a great sounding marinade. Those steaks look yummy!
Looks wonderful! Now if only it would stop snowing so we could break out our grill!
I LOVE this marinade. I have one really similar, only it has lemon juice instead of vinegar, droooool.
