I have shared Nutella swirled pumpkin muffins with you before. So the other day I was thinking why not have banana Nutella swirled muffins. All the goodness of a banana muffin with the added flavor of Nutella!

The recipe for these banana Nutella swirled muffins is pretty straight forward. It starts by whisking some flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together. Next you add some mashed bananas, sugar, brown sugar, egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla to a bowl. You want to whisk this all together. Then you add the flour mixture to the wet mixture and whisk until combined with no lumps.

At this point, you scoop the batter into your lined muffin cups and filling them 3/4 of the way full. I like to use a cookie scoop to get this done. It makes it easy to add the batter to the muffin cups and makes then evenly portioned. Once the batter is in the cups, you will place a tsp of Nutella on top of each batter filled muffin cups. Now you just take a toothpick and carefully swirl in the Nutella.

Finally, it’s time to pop these babies into the oven. They only take 15-17 minutes in a 350 degrees. You just want to make sure that those muffins are cooked enough by passing the trusty toothpick test.
