This easy chicken cobbler recipe is a delightful twist on the classic savory dish. This comforting meal combines tender chunks of chicken, vegetables, and a rich, creamy sauce, all topped with a fluffy, biscuit-like crust that bakes to golden perfection.

This easy chicken cobbler uses cooked chicken, so it’s a perfect use from that rotisserie chicken from the store. I like to cook up a bunch of chicken in my slow cooker. Then freeze it in bags for recipes just like this. You can have your chicken diced or shredded.

Frozen veggies is all you need for the vegetables in this dish. You can get a bag of mixed vegetables. My family doesn’t like the green beans in the bag of mixed frozen vegetables. So I buy a bag of frozen peas and carrots along with a bag of frozen corn. Then I use a half bag of each when I make this.

For the biscuit topping you can use a box of Red Lobster biscuit mix and use some Bisquick. Personally, I love the Red Lobster biscuit mix because you also use the seasoning packet that comes with it. This just gives even more added flavor to this dish.

Lastly, the creamy sauce is made from a can of cream of chicken soup and some chicken broth. This dish is like a chicken pot pie with a biscuit crust. I promise this will be come a go to family favorite meal. It’s comfort food at its finest, offering a taste of home in every bite.
