Whether you are just hanging on a rainy Saturday afternoon or watching the big football game – this next recipe will be a hit. These meatball bites are flavorful meatballs with cheese surrounded with a flaky crust. Add in some marinara sauce for dipping and you are set!
These babies will also be a great appetizer to serve when the holidays roll around, so hold on to this recipe for then too!
If you are in Utah, I have only found the biscuits used in this recipe at Walmart. I also love to use the frozen meatballs from Costco or Sam’s. Both are great for these meatball bites.
These begin with some frozen meatballs that have been cut in half. Then you place that meatball half with a piece of string cheese. Next, you wrap it with half of some refrigerated biscuit dough. Place them all in a baking dish.
Now, you sprinkle them with a mixture of Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and oregano. Next up is to bake them in a 375 degree oven for about 18 minutes. After that, just serve them up with some warm marinara sauce!
