Preheat the Oven – Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) so it’s ready to go once everything is assembled.

Steam the Broccoli – Microwave the package of Green Giant Steamers broccoli for about 3 minutes, or until tender. Let it cool slightly before mixing.

Mix the Filling – In a large bowl, combine the steamed broccoli, cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream. Stir until everything is well blended and creamy.

Assemble the Casserole – Lightly grease an 11×7-inch baking pan. Spread the chicken and broccoli mixture evenly into the dish.

Add the Topping – Sprinkle the prepared stuffing mix over the top of the casserole, creating a flavorful, crunchy layer.

Bake and Finish – Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the topping is golden. Serves: 4–6

Can I use fresh broccoli instead of frozen?
Absolutely! Just steam or blanch it until tender before mixing it into the casserole. You’ll want about 2 cups of chopped broccoli.

What kind of chicken works best?
Cooked, shredded chicken breast or rotisserie chicken both work beautifully. It’s a great way to use up leftovers!

Can I make this ahead of time?
Yes! Assemble the casserole (without baking), cover tightly, and store in the fridge for up to 24 hours. When ready to bake, add 5–10 extra minutes to the covered baking time.

What can I use instead of cheddar cheese or cream of chicken soup for the creamy sauce?
Try cream of mushroom or cream of celery for a different flavor. You can also make a homemade white sauce if you prefer to skip canned soup.

What sides go well with this broccoli chicken casserole?
A simple green salad, garlic bread, or roasted vegetables pair nicely. It’s also great served over rice or with mashed potatoes for extra comfort.
