What’s not to love about a meaty pasta dish? This Baked Pasta is simple to make and has everything you would expect from a good pasta dish.

With just a few simple ingredients like pasta, marinara sauce, sour cream, beef, onions, and cheese you are set. Add a salad or veggies along with some garlic bread for a meal that will please everyone, even the pickiest of eaters.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz pasta like ziti or penne, I used gemelli
  • ½ lb ground beef
  • ½ medium onion chopped
  • 1 24-oz jar spaghetti sauce
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 6 oz sliced Provolone
  • 4 oz shredded or sliced Mozzarella
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan
  • chopped parsley optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain.
  • In the meantime, brown the ground beef with onion and cook until softened. Mix in spaghetti sauce and allow to simmer for 15 minutes. Mix in sour cream. Add the drained pasta and stir to coat.
  • Pour half of the pasta into the baking dish. Top with half of the provolone and half of the Mozzarella. Pour in the remaining pasta and top with the remaining provolone and mozzarella. Sprinkle parmesan over top.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving. Serves 4-6.
