Over the last 8 years, since my daughter was born, my life has been crazy. I have files of photos on my computer, but for the most part that is where they stay. I just haven’t had the time in my crazy life to scrapbook them. So I figure there is no point in printing them until I have the time to do something with them. I was recently invited to participate in Snapfish Your Creative Lens on Life holiday campaign. I thought this may be the perfect solution for me and my files of photos so I was thrilled to be involved.
Snapfish has photobooks which seem to be a great idea for me. You can design a book online using your photos. You can do it all yourself if you have the time or, the part I like, you can have Snapfish do it for you! So as part of the campaign, I get to design a book.
Now here’s the fun part that involves you – you get to help me design the book.
There are 10 bloggers participating in this campaign. The readers on each blog get to help design the book. Then the 10 books will all be judged and a winning book will be chosen. The first 100 readers to comment on the design of winning blogs book will each get a $100 gift card credit from Snapfish! Isn’t that cool!
So help me by creating a winning photo book. So let me know what you would do to create a unique / creative photo book (unique themes, layouts, etc.) Some creative ideas could include creating a family recipe book featuring important family photos, creating a book around a child’s artwork, photo book to archive family history, etc.
The book will be judged on the creative photo book idea(s) presented and the use of Snapfish photo book design tools/services.  So help me come up with a fabulous photo book and 100 readers will win!  Follow the link to Snapfish and see what they have to help with your ideas.  I can’t wait to hear what you all come up with!  Remember, the winners will be the first 100 comments with their design idea on this post!  Also, include you email in the comments so if I have the winner book, Sanpfish can email you the $100 gift card!  So help me with the book and you could win!
Disclousre: I was compensated by Snapfish for this post.

Clever idea from Snapfish! Can’t wait to see all the entries!
I’d love to make a book where every person in the family (including mom and dad) have their birth pictures and story. 🙂

my daughter likes to take photos of scenes with her toys and use them to create a storybook, or you could use it to do a pictorial family tree with info on past generations of family members

I would love to do a book of close up things… or my family and the special times we get together!
I would love to make a book of traditions for my children! Especially holiday traditions.
I like books where the pictures tell the story and not the words.
I also enjoy books that focus on every day minutiae – like my daughter refused to put on pants after her nap for every day for a year, or that she ate macaroni and cheese with reckless abandon or that she prances rather than runs – these pictures that capture the every day awesomeness of family, rather than simply documenting occasions.
So many ideas: I’m going with the my next project. My new granddaughter and all her first pictures.
So many ideas; How about my next project my Granddaughter first year with all her first year photos.
My photobook design idea is to create a photobook for each year. We don’t have photo albums like we used to, I have all these digital photos that just sit on my laptop and no one ever sees them. I want to start compiling all the pictures I take every year to make a photobook highlighting that year. My email is boxcarpunk@hotmail.com
Oh my goodness! I LOVE SnapFish!! We made a gorgeous photo calendar on snapfish last year!
My design idea is to create a ____’s Life Photo Book. Each page would be a year in that person’s life. It can include pictures and stories from things that happened that year. It would be a scrapbook from someone’s whole life! I would love to make one of these for my children!!

I love the idea of creating a family recipe book that would include photos of the family, both new and older photos. You could incorporate seasonal recipes and use holiday photos as well. It would be fun to be able to match up photos of people with their recipe, plus you have a great family recipe book to pass along to the younger generations.
Photobooks are so much easier than scrapbooks!
I love Snapfish and use it all the time. I recently made a small photo book for my husband’s 30th birthday and called it “30 reasons why I love you… in no particular order”. You could do something similar for your husband or daughter!
I love snapfish! Their quality has greatly improved over the years! Some pages could have color and some all black and white pics. Be sure to go in chronological order.
I would love to do rhythms or seasons of the year. 🙂 This could include one year or photos from multiple years through the seasons. You could include important festivals or holidays of that season. Your family traditions, such as baking or gardening during each season.
I would do a family traditions book, you could have pictures involved that document all of your traditions throughout the year.
I would find the 26 letters of the alphabet in everyday things For example, a T shaped cloud, a H in a fence or a O in a puddle. Then, I would have my son hold up a bright letter card so he is in the picture holding up the letter by the everyday object letter.
I am planning on making art books for each of my kids. Instead of saving all the paper that comes just scan each piece and add to a photo book for their own coffee table art books.
My daughter just started Kindergarten and so I am planning on making an Alphabet Book of her year! So fun!!
Kids say the funniest things. Go to a school and ask them all the same question and make a book out of their responses with a picture of each kid.
I want to make a book on the complete renovation of our house. It will include before, during & after pictures documenting the entire process. mcsweet718@gmail.com
Photo Books are the best way to preserve memories. Love them.
I think a family recipe book would be super fun. I want to make them to give to my kids when they get married so they will know how to make all of their favorites.

I have made photo books for past years. I have done family books, an anniversary book. I think an ABC book for a family year or a baby’s firsr birthday would be a great book.

I have made a number of photobooks, but the most recent one was of a family ski trip to Breckenridge a couple of years ago. It captures the memories and moments from vacations like nothing else can!
So, one idea that I’m currently working on is writing up my love story – complete with all the pictures my husband and I took while we were dating. I think it would be such a cute book to share for an anniversary or something. I also love making photo books for family vacations and holidays. (newsie4ever@gmail.com)
I just made a book of a trip that we took to Disneyland. With over 250 phots, it is a simple way to preserve those memories. And my daughter loves looking through it!
Whoops..hit enter to fast. A creative idea I would like to do is document our holidays throughout the year. We always take a holiday pic with my side of the family. It’s always fun to look back and see the changes we made, new births, and sometimes new relationships :/ I absolutely love photo books to document changes in the family or events.
