I have stayed at a few hotels that have seasonally had it on hand in their lobby. It definitely helps to warm me up when it’s chilly outside.

Well today’s version is one that you make in a slow cooker. Just add all of the ingredients for this Slow Cooked Apple Cider and get it a few hours in the slow cooker and it’s ready to go!

What is the difference between Apple Cider and Apple Juice?

You can use apple cider or apple juice for this recipe. The difference between the two is Apple cider is fresh, unfiltered, and often unpasteurized. It’s also considered a seasonal and can be hard to find outside of the autumn months. Apple juice, on the other hand, is filtered and pasteurized, which gives it a longer shelf life, a sweeter taste, and a smoother texture. Personally, I prefer to use cider when possible.
