In the Spirit of the Contest

In the spirit of this contest, I created a simple chili recipe to share with all of you. You only need 4 ingredients to put this chili together. Plus, they are probably ingredients you have on hand.

First, you’ll need a good old jar of salsa. This is one of 2 amazing time saving ingredients. The other is a couple cans of Bush’s Chili Beans.  Any kind will do you can even use 2 different kinds. I used 2 cans of the Chili Beans made with pinto beans.

Both the salsa and the chili beans are full of flavor. You can also adjust the heat by the type of salsa and chili beans you use. I use mild salsa and Bush’s Chili Beans in mild sauce.

The only other ingredients you need is a pound of beef and some chili seasoning. Once you have it all put together, you just let it simmer for 10-15 minutes and you’re ready to dig in!
