Pizza Rolls

Have you ever seen somthing and think “Duh? Why didn’t I think of that?” When I saw this recipe from Christy at Southern Plate that’s exactly what I thought. When I saw this I thought, it’s basically sloppy joes with a pizza twist. Plus, this recipe for pizza rolls is unbelieveably simple.
Now, when I made this I only did a half a recipe and we ate the buns right then, but I really like Christy’s idea of wrapping them up and keeping them in the fridge. I was even thinking after that, you could even put several wrapped sandwiches in a gallon freezer bag and keep them in the freezer. Now, Christy’s family is a lot like mine. They are not hot on green peppers and onions in their food. So when you brown the meat, you could add some chopped up green peppers and onions and it would be amazing.
I was able to sneak some dried minced onion into my meat. Also, I think that mushrooms and olives would also be a great addition to this sandwich as well. I was only able to get 5 sandwiches out of this recipe. Maybe I was too generous with the meat or my pound of meat may have been on the smaller side.
