Tomorrow, August 10th is national s’mores day! So I am celebrating my giving you a weeks worth of s’more recipes and we are starting of with Magic S’more Bars.
The s’more flavor is such a classic and timeless flavor combination. Now sure a regular old s’more is quite tasty, but it is even more tasty when you can incorporate those flavors into other sweet treats.
First up for you today is a twist on the magic cookie bars. I am sure you know the ones with the graham cracker bottom followed by a layer of sweetened condensed milk. Then it gets sprinkled with chocolate, coconut, and nuts. Well, we are swapping out the coconut and nuts for more graham cracker goodness along with some marshmallows. You use graham crackers broken into large pieces and miniature marshmallows.
The results of these magic s’more bars were a tasty ooey gooey s’more bar piece of heaven. The addition of the sweetened condensed milk is what elevates the s’more. But sure to stop by each day this week to get even more s’more delectables.
