Who doesn’t love a freshly made chocolate chip cookie? Well, raise a glass of milk because today is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day and I have a new recipe for Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies!
Well, I also have over 21 ways for you to celebrate this momentous food holiday. I’m sure there is something that find in this collection to use today to celebrate with.
The main recipe I am sharing is a peanut butter version. These cookies stay nice and chewy. Also, they aren’t too strong on peanut butter flavor either. My husband isn’t a fan of peanut butter cookies, but gave these a try. He loved them!
Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Real Mom Kitchen
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 3 eggs
- 2 Tbsp sour cream
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cup flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl or bowl of a stand mixer, cream together the butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and honey until smooth and creamy.
- Then add in the remaining ingredients, except the chocolate chips, until a soft dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Place golf ball size scoops of cookie dough onto the cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 9-12 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Makes 5 dozen.
