One of the things I love to make in the Instant Pot is pasta. There is no need to cook the pasta in a separate pot when using an Instant Pot. Today, I have a simple yet healthy Instant Pot spaghetti for you.
The sauce for the spaghetti is made with ground beef, petite diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and spices. The spices included are dried minced onion, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. You also add water in there. This makes it possible to have the pasta cook in there with the sauce.
Since this is a healthy version of spaghetti, there is a higher sauce to pasta ratio. My family loved this but would have loved more pasta. Since I was making this to keep the points low for me and my WW diet, the ratio was great for me. For my personal WW points, it was 6 points. However, with all the tomatoes used in it, I earned an additional 2 points. So, if you would like more pasta in this, I would recommend increasing the pasta to 8 oz and use 2 cups of water.
