I have teamed up with Teflon® brand this year to “Seasons to Celebrate”. From now until December 18, Teflon® brand has teamed with Farberware® to focuses on quick and easy holiday entertaining.
They are doing this with themed weeks that include fun family-friendly and easy ways to celebrate the holidays. This weeks theme is Mac and Cheese Potluck Party. I am helping out by sharing this easy shells and cheese recipe.
Any recipe involving pasta and cheese is always a hit with my family and today’s recipe helps achieve that family favorite in no time. You can use it as a main dish or as a side. Either way, the family gets that cheesy goodness that they crave.
Throughout the course of the#SeasonstoCelebrate with Teflon® brand , you can visit the “Celebrate the Seasons” Facebook tab or go to Farberware®’s website to enter the sweepstakes. Farberware® will randomly draw giveaway winners 3 times – once for each of the featured holiday time periods:
- Halloween – 10/30
- Thanksgiving – 11/30
- Christmas – 12/18
Each giveaway will award one grand prize winner and three bonus prize winners. The Grand Prize being Farberware Dishwasher Safe Nonstick 12-Piece Set coated with Teflon® nonstick coating and the Bonus Prize of a Farberware Dishwasher Safe Nonstick Jumbo Cooker. In addition to the sweepstakes, the Teflon® brand will be creating fun Pinterest boards, running bi-weekly themed Facebook and Twitter giveaways, creating an interactive “mix and match” virtual Facebook application and hosting a Twitter party. - 1 (16 oz) pkg small shell pasta, cooked according to pkg directions
- 2 cups milk
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 3 cups grated colby jack cheese
- 8 oz Velveeta cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp season salt
- pepper to taste
- In a large sauce pan, warm milk with butter over medium heat until butter is melted.
- Then add both cheeses to the milk mixture. Continue cooking over medium until cheese is melted.
- Add the pasta and seasonings to the cheese mixture. Gently stir until pasta is all coated in the cheese sauce. Serves 4 as a main dish or 6-8 as a side dish.
