I have teamed up with Teflon® brand this year to “Seasons to Celebrate”. From now until December 18, Teflon® brand has teamed with Farberware® to focuses on quick and easy holiday entertaining.
They are doing this with themed weeks that include fun family-friendly and easy ways to celebrate the holidays. This weeks theme is Mac and Cheese Potluck Party. I am helping out by sharing this easy shells and cheese recipe.
Any recipe involving pasta and cheese is always a hit with my family and today’s recipe helps achieve that family favorite in no time. You can use it as a main dish or as a side. Either way, the family gets that cheesy goodness that they crave.

Easy Shells and Cheese
Real Mom Kitchen
Ingredients
- 1 16 oz pkg small shell pasta, cooked according to pkg directions
- 2 cups milk
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 3 cups grated colby jack cheese
- 8 oz Velveeta cheese
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp season salt
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large sauce pan, warm milk with butter over medium heat until butter is melted.
- Then add both cheeses to the milk mixture. Continue cooking over medium until cheese is melted.
- Add the pasta and seasonings to the cheese mixture. Gently stir until pasta is all coated in the cheese sauce. Serves 4 as a main dish or 6-8 as a side dish.
