When thinking about salad week, I was contemplating it would be yummy to have some kind of creamy pesto salad dressing. It would be great to top a Italian style salad. As a result, this is the recipe I came up with.
I placed it on a salad that included Italian blend salad mix. There was also chunks of mozzarella, artichoke hearts from a can, strips of salami, olives, tomatoes, and peppers. It was delish! If you love pesto, you will love this creamy dressing.Print
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 Tbsp prepared pesto
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- In a bowl, whisk together all of the above ingredients.
- Place in the refrigerator and allow to sit for at least one hour for flavors to develop.
- Serve over salad.
