Classic Buttermilk Waffles

by Laura

Waffles are a staple recipe for breakfast and everyone needs a good basic waffle recipe. I love my weekday waffle recipe but these classic buttermilk waffles are an easy version when you want buttermilk waffles.

This is a great all around basic waffle recipe that includes buttermilk. The waffles are nice and tender. You can always make a buttermilk substitute if needed to make these, but real buttermilk works so much better.

This recipe is basically a dump and mix recipe which always makes life easier. I served them topped with easy peach topping but buttermilk syrup would also be fabulous!
