My family loves chicken fingers and occasionally I grab and cook some frozen ones from the store. It’s worth taking an extra 5 minutes to make a homemade chicken finger sauce to a dip those babies in.
Now, this sauce is suppose to be a copy cat version of Guthrie’s, Zaxby’s, and Raising Cane’s sauce. We only have a Zaxby’s where I live, but I have never been to one. SO, I have no idea how this compares to the real thing. However, we loved it with our chicken fingers.
You have to have some type of sauce to dip those delicious chicken fingers in. This sauce is a tasty alternative to the usual bbq sauce, ranch or honey mustard. If you have had fry sauce before, I would say the sauce is similar to that but will more of a favor punch.
**Update – Since writing this post, we have had a Raising Cane’s built by our home. We have tried the sauce there and this homemade version is just like it.
