Bacon makes everything better, right? Well, did you know that it’s possible to make regular bacon better? That’s exactly what today’s recipe brown sugar glazed bacon is for.
All you need is a little brown sugar to make bacon even more amazing. It is seriously almost like candy. That crisp salty bacon gets encased in a glossy sweet sugary glaze! It’s spectacular, you must give it a try! It gives you that sweet and savory combo together.
However, you want to be sure to use a thick cut bacon. It’s what will work best for this method. You line a baking sheet with foil. This will make clean up much easier!
Lay the bacon out on the foil and sprinkle it with the brown sugar. Then you bake the bacon in a 400 degree oven for 12-15 minutes until cooked to your desired crispness. Allow it to cool for 5 minutes. That sugar on the bacon will be hot! Then it’s time to enjoy. Enjoy it on it’s own like that or chop it up and use in recipes.
