Breakfast Croissant Sandwiches

by Laura

One of my favotite breakfast sandwiches is the breakfast croissant sandwiches at a restaurant called Kneaders. I love their French toast. However, when I am in a mood for something more savory, this sandwich is my go-to there.

Normally, I get the sandwich made with bacon. With this recipe though, I tried to keep it simple. So, I did this recipe using ham because it’s easier than bacon or sausage. However, feel free to swap the ham for bacon or sausage.

The Kneaders sandwich is served with an egg cooked over medium. Again, you can always change it to cook the egg the way you like it. Heck, you can even scramble it if that’s more your style.

These breakfast croissant sandwiches taste best when you make it with a fresh made croissant. If you croissant happens to not be super fresh, you can slice it open and place it on a baking sheet. Then but it in the oven under thr broiler, but keep an eye on it. You want it to get the inside of the croissant to start turning a light golden brown. This will make the croissant tase nice and fresh.
