Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day. Today begins my countdown to the new year with the best of recipes for the year. We are starting the countdown with the best appetizers of 2020.
First up is fresh rainbow spring rolls with a peanut dipping sauce. It is full of vegetables and fruit to give you all the colors of the rainbow. There is rice noodles in there too.
Next up is flavorful teriyaki sliders. The patties are made with a combination of mushrooms, green onion, pork, ginger, teriyaki sauce and bread crumbs. The cooked patties are placed on King’s Hawaiian rolls along with pineapple, provolone cheese, mayo, and teriyaki bbq sauce. The slider pack a flavorful punch.
The third recipe also happens to be for sliders. These aare turkey cheddar apple sliders. The King’s Hawaiian rolls make another appearance here as the base of the sliders.
Sandwiched between the rolls is turkey, cheddar slices, apple slices, Dijon mustard, and pepper jelly. Then you bake them to get them warm and melty. Then brushed with melted butter for added flavor and returned to the oven for a few minutes. This process adds a little extra crispness to the exterior of the rolls.
The last recipe for the Best Appetizers of 2020 is for a simple chip dip. It happens to use one of my favorite seasonings – McCormick Montreal Steak seasoning. It is added to sour cream along with garlic powder and Wochestershire sauce.
