Applesauce BBQ Chicken

This applesauce bbq chicken is another tasty way to serve up chicken and it is so simple. Only a few ingredients are needed to make this. This chicken is sweet and peppery.
All you need to do is mix in a few ingredients to some bottled bbq sauce to make a tasty topping for boneless skinless chicken breasts. You will need some chunky applesauce, brown sugar, and chili powder. I love the subtle apple flavor you get in this sauce with the applesauce.
Even better, this is ready to eat in 20 minutes! The combination of the applesauce with the bbq sauce is the right amount of sweet and spicy. You just season the chicken with pepper and brown in a skillet with a little olive oil.
Then you combine all of the sauce ingredients together and pour over the chicken. Over and allow this to simmer for 7-10 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked. I served this up with some corn and my twice baked potatoes.
