There are many ways to make a baked potato. Some are fast and some take time. Overall, I always prefer the results you get for actually baking them in the oven. This takes a minimum of 45 minutes. However, air fryer baked potatoes are now a close second.

Now, with my air fryer, no preheating is needed. So right there you save 10 minutes. The the actual baking of the potato in the air fryer takes 35-40 minutes. That’s another 5-10 minutes saved.

Next thing about baked potatoes is I like them to have a crispy skin. I have a way to do that in the oven, but this version in the air fryer baked potatoes it also gives you a crispy skin. Usually when I do my recipe for the oven, I also salt the skins. This one takes it a step further with also seasoning the skin with garlic and pepper.

If you just add butter and sour cream to this potato, you are set! Use them as a side or use them as a main dish for a baked potato bar. You are gonna love having this recipe.
