Snacking with Weight Watchers

When snacking with Weight Watchres, I love to go for something that is a pre-portioned size to help me stick to my plans.
Choosing the right snack helps me by curbing cravings, fighting weight gain, regulating mood, boosting brain power and giving me the energy I need to keep going all day.

By using the right snacks throughout the day, I don’t get those crazy cravings because my body has the fuelit needs and I don’t want to reach for other things that may not provide me with enough fuel or contain higher calories.
When I have the fuel with my body needs, I feel good. I am able to focus on what I need to each day and I am able to maintain the constant energy that is needed for this busy mom each and every day.
Products from Weight Watchers
Weight Watcher® products are one of those things I use, because they are already portioned out and I know the exact amount of calories they are.
100 Calorie Packages of Jolly Time Popcorn
Popcorn is one of my all time favorite snacks. You can now find Weight Watchers® Endorsed products at Walmart and one of those items included is Jolly Time Pop Corn. It received the first ever Good Housekeeping seal of approval for a food brand and is portioned into the perfect mini bags with 100 calories each or 3 SmartPoints® value per serving.
Ice cream is another category that I go to for snacking, especially on a hot day. You can find Weight Watchers® Ice Cream Novelties in the freezer section of Walmart. There are different varieties and flavors of bars, cones, cups, and sandwiches. They are individually wrapped items for portion control and are lower SmartPoints® value than regular and other “diet” frozen novelties. These perfect snack sized cool treats are all under 100 calories or 3-5 SmartPoints® values per serving.
Sandwich Thins from Arnold®, Orowheat®, and Brownberry®
I was also thrilled to find out that Weight Watchers® has now endorsed Sandwich Thins from Arnold®, Orowheat®, and Brownberry®. Sandwich thins are an item I have been enjoying for years. They are fewer calories and lower SmartPoints® values than regular bread (only 3 SmartPoints® value per serving) in addition to being an excellent source of fiber. More fiber means I feel fuller and for longer.
I love that I can find them in multiple flavor varieties. They work great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner recipes. Anywhere you use bread or a bun, you can use sandwich thins instead. I use them for things like a meat and veggie sandwich or a quick egg salad sandwich. Hey, or how about a pear and cheese sandwich, delish!
Oh, and don’t forget Weight Watchers® String Cheese! They are less fat than regular cheese and made with real milk. String cheese is a must have snack food in my book. Plus, I love their 1 SmartPoint® value per serving. I use these along with the sandwich thins and some marinara sauce to make a quick mini pizzas.
