After getting a pellet smoker, this smoked buttery steakhouse chicken is one of the first recipes I created. I love Kinder’s buttery steakhouse seasoning. It’s one of my favorite spice mixes to use. This is what I came up with and we loved it.
This spice mix for this smoked buttery steakhouse chicken includes a buttery flavoring along with other spices including garlic, red pepper, and parsley. You can also pick what kind of pellets you like to vary the flavor of this chicken. When we made this, we used apple wood pellets with my smoker.
To make this, you want to flatten the chicken breasts so they are 1/2 inch thick. Using a silicone brush, brush each side of the chicken with the olive oil. Then sprinkle the seasoning mix over the chicken.
To smoke the chicken, preheat the pellet smoker to 250 degrees. Add the chicken to the smoke and cook for about 1 hour. You want the chicken to reach 160 degrees. All the chicken to rest for 5 minutes while tented with foil and serve. This is great as is or delicious to cut up and serve on a salad.
