  • STRAWBERRIES
  • LEMON OR LIME JUICE
  • SUGAR
  • LEMON LIME SODA
  • ICE

Combine the Base: In your blender, add the strawberries, fresh lemon juice, granulated sugar, and chilled lemon-lime soda for the strawberry puree.

Blend Until Smooth: Secure the lid on your blender and blend the mixture until it is completely smooth and no chunks of strawberry remain.

Blend to Perfection: Now for the magic! Add about 2 cups of ice to the blender. Blend again until the mixture reaches your desired frozen margarita consistency. If it’s not quite thick enough, gradually add more ice, a little at a time, and continue blending until you achieve the perfect frosty texture.

Serve and Enjoy! Pour your refreshing Non-Alcoholic Frozen Strawberry Margaritas into chilled margarita glasses. Garnish with a fresh strawberry slice or a fresh lime wedge for an extra touch of flair. You can even dip the rim of the glass in margarita salt or sugar. I prefer to use regular sugar.

Can I use frozen strawberries instead of fresh?
Absolutely! Frozen strawberries work wonderfully and will actually help create a thicker, icier margarita. You might need to use slightly less ice if you opt for frozen berries.

Can I adjust the sweetness of the margaritas?
Yes, definitely! The ¼ cup of sugar is a starting point. Taste the blended mixture before adding ice and add more sugar to your liking. You could also use a liquid sweetener like agave nectar or simple syrup.

I don’t have lemon-lime soda. Can I use something else?
You can substitute with other clear sodas like club soda or sparkling water. If you use plain club soda or sparkling water, you might want to add a little more sugar or a splash of fresh lime juice to maintain the flavor profile.

Can I make these virgin strawberry margaritas ahead of time?
While best enjoyed fresh, you can prepare the strawberry base (before adding ice) and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. When you’re ready to serve, simply blend it with the ice.

Can I add any other fruits to this recipe?
Feel free to get creative! Other berries like raspberries or blueberries would pair well with strawberry. You could also add a touch of mango or pineapple for a tropical twist.

My margaritas are too thick. How can I thin them out?
Add a tablespoon or two of lemon-lime soda or water and blend again until you reach your desired consistency.
