My Favorite Things 2020

As we get closer to Christmas, I am sharing my favorite things 2020. This is a great list for gift ideas.

First up is an air fryer. I have talked about it before on the blog. I’ve also shared many things you can cook in your air fryer. You can read up more about them in my previous post. They make an especially great gift for college students or for mom and dad who are empty nesters. I like this GoWise Air Fryer. I recommend getting a 5.8 qt size or larger.

Second on my list is Dove Exfoliating Body Polish in the crushed almond and mango butter scent. It’s great to use 3-4 times a week to exfoliate all that dead skin off. Plus, it smells amazing! You can get this at just about any store that sells Dove products. However, you can get a 2-pack at Sam’s Club for $10. Right now, through November 29th, it’s on sale for $7.98.

Third, these Manna hot color-changing to-go cups. I got a set of 12 from Costco. They had a similar set in the summer with straws, but this set is perfect for hot drinks. My daughter is giving them to friends for Christmas along with some hot cocoa mix. You can also find them on Amazon. However, the best price I found is buying them in stores at Costco.

Next up are these Saunders Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels. I absolutely LOVE these. I pick these up at Costco too, but these are available on Amazon and many other places. It’s one of the store-bought caramels that is closest to the homemade kind. Then it is coated in delicious dark chocolate with a sprinkle of sea salt on top. That makes it a great sweet-and-salty combination. If you aren’t a dark chocolate fan, they are also available in milk chocolate.

Fifth on my list is this long jacket hoodie. It’s an Amazon buy. I wear this around the house all winter. If I’m cold, this is what I grab to keep on at home. I love that it’s long. You can zip it up or leave it unzipped. It is comfy but also looks stylish. You can find it in an array of colors. I have the red wine color. I think the army green and blue-green are other great color choices. It’s around $32 depending on the size and color you choose.

A game is always a welcome gift. The game we recently added to our collection is What Do You Meme? Family Edition. I know Target is putting games on sale next week for half off, and they carry this game. It is similar to Apples to Apples, if you have played that game before. Players have various picture cards. Each player takes turns reading a “meme” caption. Then each player chooses a picture card they feel best fits the meme caption. The meme caption reader then decides which photo they feel best fits the meme caption. It’s a fun game for groups of all ages.

Who knew we would be making a fashion statement this year with masks? Everyone needs a cute mask. You can find great sets on Amazon. Old Navy is another good option. They have sizes for the entire family. You can get a 5-pack of masks for $12.50 in the adult sizes. They did have them on sale for half off at one point this month. So, they may put them on sale again for half off before Christmas. Another great place to get masks at a great price is Target. They have various ones for families too. The cost around $2 per mask. These can make great stocking stuffers this year.

I have had the book Love and Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch on my list before. Since then, the book has become a series. There is Love and Luck and now Love and Olives. These romance books are great for girls 12 and up. My 17-year-old daughter has loved them, and so have I.

This Grove Collaborative blood orange hand sanitizer is my favorite. Who would have thought a certain type of hand sanitizer would become an item on my favorite things list? I love the smell. It also isn’t sticky after applying it like other hand sanitizers. Another good thing is that it has coconut oil, so it doesn’t dry your hands out. Last is Burt’s Bees color lip shimmer. You can get this on Amazon or in stores, but you can also order it with the hand sanitizer from Grove Collaborative. They also have a cute 3-piece gift set. You can also get them individually. They are enriched with shea butter, vitamin E, and antioxidant-rich fruit oils to nourish and moisturize. You can wear them over lipstick or on a nude lip for a light shimmer. I like to use them on a nude lip. These make a great stocking stuffer, too.
