I recently went to my local Smith’s grocery store with the idea to put together a simple meal that is full of flavor for less than $10.
As part of my shopping trip, I purchased to 2 key items that helped create the tasty Lazy Lasagna recipe that I am sharing with all of you today.
Barilla Pasta
The first was Italy’s #1 brand of pasta – Barilla Pasta. You know, the one you can find in the blue box. Barilla makes a quick, easy, and versatile dinner that everyone loves. It brings Al Dente perfection to every pasta meal.
The other key item I grabbed was sausage from Johnsonville. Their sausage is convenient & flavorful. All the spices and flavors are built into Johnsonville Sausages – making recipe prep easy! I didn’t need any extra spices in making this meal because the sausage packs enough flavor to make this dish amazing. I especially love the fennel!
Their protein-packed sausage is flavorful and versatile. Use link sausage in a sandwich or coined for pasta dishes. The ground Italian sausage is easy to use in pasta, pizza, soups, chilies, etc. I ended up using the ground version.
Lasagna tends to be one of those go to family staple meals. Everyone is usually happy to discover it on the menu for the week. However, it can be time consuming and costly. Now enter in the recipe for Lazy Lasagna.
This recipe is ready to go in about 30 minutes and costs less than $10. However, you still have all of those flavors that you find in a regular lasagna.
