I have the perfect sweet treat to make and enjoy on Super Bowl Sunday. These bars are so good they won’t just knock your socks off. These bars will actually knock you naked, hence the name – knock you naked bars.
Any sweet tooth will definitely be made happy with these bars. These babies are nice and decadent. Chocolate! Peanut butter! Caramel! These bars basically incorporate chocolate chip cookies with caramel and peanut butter!
The base of these bars is basically a chocolate chip cookie dough. Then you press half that dough into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Next, you need to cook that base a little bit, just for about 8 minutes.
Once you have that complete, you make the filling. You make this filling is from Kraft caramels or caramel bits. You melt them with some evaporated milk. However, it doesn’t stop there. Once you combine that, you mix in the peanut butter to creat a peanut butter caramel filling!
Spread the filling over the cookie dough. Then drop spoonfuls of the remaining dough over the filling and bake. These bars will make you think you have died and gone to heaven.
