Hot Fudge Sauce

My go-to ice cream topping is hot fudge. I just love the combination of the cool creamy ice cream paired a thick, rich and chocolaty hot fudge sauce. It is even better if it’s topped off with chopped almonds, whipped cream, and a cherry.
There is a microwave version that I love to make. However, I was looking for a simple stove top version using cream and chocolate chips one day and settled on this recipe. It’s nice and thick.

This hot fudge sauce would also work well to use on top of a brownie sundae or cookie sundae. You could even just eat it with a spoon!
