Fab Five Pink Theme

by Laura

Today’s Fab Five is a pink theme.  I didn’t plane it.  It just happened that way.  I am absolutely in love with this Etsy shop from KalosCandy.  She has the cutest baby gifts and they are all reasonably priced!

Second, check out this cute t-shirt makeover from Meech.  I am definitely gonna give this a try.

Then, I wanted to share with you my way to do DIY glitter toes at home.  All you do is pick a cute polish color and buy aglitter only polish.  Do 1-2 coats of the colored polish followed by a coat or two of the glitter.  I usually do one good coat of each and it will last me around 2 weeks.   In the photo i used Revlon Top Speed Guava (140) and Pure Ice Spit Fire (991) that I got at Walmart.  Now, I don’t have the cutest toes but don’t they look like the salon version.

Fourth, is a recipe for homemade play dough. I love homemade play dough.  I just made this recipe for my daughter and used some pink and green neon food coloring for the fun colors. The recipe is simple.

Place ingredients in a sauce pan, mix to combine.  Over medium heat, bring to a boil and cook until thick.  It will look like thick white frosting.  Tis will take several minutes.  Knead in desired mount of food coloring to achieve colored dough.

Last for the fab five pink theme, my friend Leigh Anne over at Your Home Based Mom recently did a Italian Soda Bar as part of a graduation party.  If you have never had an Italian Soda before you must give them a try!  They are delish!  I use club soda to make mine!
