Why not mix up mealtime with Jif’s NEW No-Stir Almond and Cashew Butters? They are perfect for school lunches or after-school snacks! They can also be used for breakfast or dinner too.
I was thrilled to find out that Jif now offers Almond and Cashew butters.
They are exactly what I would expect them to be, coming from Jif. These are thick, smooth, and creamy. They do offer both butters in a creamy or crunchy variety. So if you do like a little crunch they’ve got you covered! I love that I can use them the same way I would use peanut butter – on toast, with celery or apples, or in baked items.
As a girl, I developed a love for ice cream. I remember getting to go to McDonald’s occasionally for an ice cream sundae. I loved getting the caramel sundae with nuts. It was splendidly delicious to this young girl.
As a grown up, my love for ice cream continues.
Plus, the traditional ice cream treat I had as a girl has been carried on with my kids. Once a week we have ice cream as a family treat. I still love the combination of caramel, nuts, and vanilla ice cream. My favorite nut topping for ice cream is almond.
When I thought about something to make with almond butter, my mind went to ice cream. I thought an almond butter ice cream topping would be perfect and it was! The ice cream topping gets that beautiful almond flavor but is rich, thick, and buttery like a caramel. I could eat this stuff by the spoonful. It seriously is to die for, pure ooey gooey almond goodness!
One of the hard parts of my job is to not eat everything I photograph.
When I took this picture, I couldn’t help but eat the sundae. I had some whipped cream in my fridge, so I added some to the top before diving in. Whipped cream is another item I can eat by the spoonful. Oh it was good, it was so good. I did stop half way though and told my husband to eat the other half. I at least I have some control. This topping will be a welcomed addition to our weekly ice cream night!
