Make these simple toasty and melty air fryer croissant sandwiches in minutes!
This time of year sandwiches are still a family favorite, but you want them to be hot sandwiches and not cold. These air fryer croissant sandwiches are the perfect option!
Store bought croissants are the base for this sandwich. I love the flaky buttery texture of croissants for a sandwich. I like to pick mine up from good old Costco. Then I can use the extras for another night and make my peachy croissant bake.
Next comes the meat. For this version, I love to use both turkey and black forest ham. They are a great combination together. However, feel free to use the same basic idea to create your own flavor combination.
Next is the cheese. I love Havarti here. Again, you can feel free to change up the cheese and make your own favorite combination. This sandwich would be a great way to use up Thanksgiving leftovers in a few weeks too. I think turkey, Swiss cheese, and cranberry sauce would be an awesome option.
Now the thing that really makes this sandwich amazing is the sauce you put on it. It’s a simple homemade sauce made with a combination of mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and honey. It’s so delicious on this sandwich, but is a great sauce recipe to use for other sandwiches too! I’m not a fan of traditional mustard, so this sauce is much more up my alley for flavor.
Once the sandwiches are assembled, it’s time to place those sandwiches in the air fryer. With just a few minutes in the air fryer, the cheese will get melty. The meat will get warm. Plus, the croissant gets just a little extra crispy!

Equipment
Ingredients
- 4 full sized croissants
- 8 slices of turkey
- 8 slices of ham
- 4 slices of Havarti cheese
For the sauce:
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 ½ Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 ½ Tbsp honey
Instructions
- Slices the croissants in half. Top the bottom half of each croissant with 2 slices of turkey followed by 2 slices of ham. Then top with a slice of the cheese. Depending on how your croissant is shaped you may want to slice the cheese in half in order to get it to fit on the croissant. That is what I did.
- Then add the sauce ingredients to a bowl and mix to combine. Spread some of the sauce on the cut side of the croissant tops and then place on top of each croissant.
- Place 2 croissants in the air fryer. cook at 350 degrees for 4 minutes. Do the same thing for the remaining 2 croissants.
