Instructions
In a sauce pan, bring water to a boil. Then whisk in the sugar and cornstarch, Stir for 3 -5 minutes until thickened.
Remove from heat and mix in butter, salt, and vanilla. Allow to cool to warm before serving. Makes 2 cups.
