These Special K treats are a quick and easy no-bake dessert or snack. A simple caramel-like mixture is made on the stovetop and then combined with Special K cereal. After a short cooling period, the treats are ready to enjoy, offering a chewy, sweet, and satisfying treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine or butter (I use butter)
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 6 cups Special K cereal can also use cornflakes

Instructions

  • Stir butter, sugar, brown sugar, and marshmallows together in a large sauce pan over medium heat until they boil.
  • Turn heat down and boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and gently mix in cereal. Spoon onto wax paper and cool.
