Place chuck roast in slow cooker. Sprinkle chili seasoning and pour BBQ sauce over roast.
Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.
Remove roast from slow cooker and shred. Skim fat from cooking juices. Return meat to slow cooker and add in some of the cooking liquid to moisten the meat. You can add a little more bbq sauce if desired to reach the consistency you like.
Butter the insides of the buns and toast. I just do this with my oven on broil. Place a slice of cheese on the bottom of each bun followed with some of the meat. Top with top bun. Makes 8 sandwiches.
