- 4 cubed steaks
- 1 pkg Au Jus mix
- 10 oz can French onion soup
- 10 oz can water
- 1 Tbsp steak sauce optional
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch plus 4 Tbsp water
Instructions
- Place the steaks in your Instant Pot and sprinkle with the au jus gravy mix.
- Add in the can of onion soup. Fill the same can with water and add that to the Instant Pot. Add in the steak sauce (optional).
- Cook on high pressure for 3 minutes.
- Allow for a 5 minute natural release. Then, perform a manual release to release the remaining pressure.
- Remove the steaks and cover to keep warm. Set aside.
- Turn your Instant Pot onto sauté mode.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch with the 4 Tbsp water.
- Whisk the cornstarch mixture into the liquid from the steaks in the Instant Pot.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and continue cooking for 3-5 minutes until it reaches desired thickness. It will thicken as it boils.
- Serve steaks with gravy. Serves 4.
