This herbed garlic bread recipe is a simple, flavorful side perfect for any meal. Slices of soft bread are filled with a buttery mixture of Parmesan, garlic, and herbs, then wrapped in foil and baked to perfection. 1unsliced loaf1 pound French bread (I used leftover sub rolls)
½cupbuttersoftened
2Tbspgrated parmesan cheeseI didn't use the stuff in the green can
2Tbspminced fresh parsley
4garlic clovesminced
½teaspoondried oregano
⅛teaspoongarlic salt
Instructions
Slice bread, but not all the way through, leaving slices attached at the bottom.
In a small bowl, cream butter. Add the Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano and garlic salt; mix well. Spread between slices.
Wrap loaf in a large piece of heavy-duty foil (about 28 in. x 18 in.)( I just used regular foil). Bake at 325° for 15-20 minutes or until heated through. 8-10 servings.
