Easy Garlic Focaccia Bread is a simple and flavorful recipe that pairs beautifully with soups, pastas, and more. Made with a soft, garlic-infused dough and topped with Parmesan, parsley, and olive oil, this bread bakes to golden perfection in just over an hour. Perfect for beginners and seasoned bakers alike, this recipe delivers a delicious homemade touch with minimal effort.
In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and minced garlic. Add water and 2 tablespoons of olive oil, stirring until fully mixed.
Cover the bowl and allow the dough to rise in a warm spot until doubled in size, about 30 minutes.
Grease a 9x13 pan and transfer the dough. Grease your fingers and spread the dough evenly across the bottom of the pan. Cover and let rest while the oven preheats to 375°F.
Once the oven is ready, use greased fingers to create dimples on the surface of the dough. Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil evenly over the top. Sprinkle with shredded Parmesan, parsley, and a pinch of salt if desired.
Bake at 375°F for 30-35 minutes, or until the focaccia is golden brown.
Let the bread cool slightly before cutting into portions. Makes 12 servings.
Notes
Instead of the parsley and salt, swap out for other seasonings. I have used Johnny's Seasoning. This is what I used in the photo.
