In the slow cooker, add tomatoes, chicken broth, oregano and basil. Mix together.
Cover and cook on high for 4-6 hours or low for 8 hours.
Add in the cream, salt, pepper, and butter. Stir together until blended. Serves 4-6.
Notes
For the stove top version, simmer tomatoes, broth, oregano, and basil together for 20-30 minutes. Add in the remaining ingredients and cook until heated through.
