A classic cheesy rice and ground beef casserole is a convenient meal that's perfect for busy weeknights. 21 ½ozcream of mushroom soup2 cans (10 3/4 oz each)
½cupsour cream
salt and pepperto taste
2cupscheddar cheeseshredded
Instructions
Cook the rice according to the package directions. Set aside.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef along with the onion until fully cooked. Drain off any excess fat.
Add in the the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream, stirring until smooth.
Mix in the cooked rice until all ingredients are well combined. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly. Remove the casserole from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
