44 individually wrapped caramels 1 bag or 22 if using Mrs. Calls brand
44 snaps or waffle pretzels
2 apples like granny smith or honeycrisp

Instructions

On a parchment-lined cookie sheet, lay out the pretzels in rows.
Unwrap all the caramels and put them on top of each pretzel. If using Mrs. Call's caramels, cut each caramel in half before placing it on the pretzel.
Preheat oven to 250℉.
Cut up the apples into small pieces.
Bake the pretzels with caramels for 3-4 minutes at 250℉, until soft.
Remove from the oven. Push a piece of apple into each caramel. Let cool for a few minutes before removing them from the cookie sheet. Makes 44 bites.

Notes

To prevent browning, put the apple pieces in a bowl of Sprite for 10 minutes. Dry them completely before placing in the caramels.
