Caramel Apple Pretzel Bites

- 44 individually wrapped caramels 1 bag or 22 if using Mrs. Calls brand
- 44 snaps or waffle pretzels
- 2 apples like granny smith or honeycrisp
Instructions
- On a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, lay out the pretzels in rows.
- Unwrap all the caramels and put them on top of each pretzel. If using Mr's Calls caramels cut each caramel in half before placing them on the pretzel.
- Preheat oven to 250℉.
- Cut up the apples into small pieces.
- Bake the pretzels with caramels for 3-4 minutes at 250℉, until soft.
- Remove from the oven, push an apple piece into each caramel. Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing them the cookie sheet. Makes 44 bites.
Notes
To prevent browning, put the apple pieces in a bowl of Sprite for 10 minutes. Dry them completely before placing in the caramels.
