Bacon and cinnamon waffles are a sweet-and-savory breakfast treat that combines crispy, smoky bacon with the warm spice of cinnamon. The waffle batter is enhanced with these bold flavors, creating a perfectly balanced dish that's both hearty and indulgent. Ideal for brunch or a weekend breakfast, these waffles are sure to impress with their unique and delicious twist!
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Add in the eggs, buttermilk, and oil. Whisk together just until combined, batter will be slightly lumpy.
Pour batter into preheated Begian waffle iron and cook according to waffle maker instruction.
To serve, sprinkle a little bacon on top of each waffle.
Notes
I don't like to mix the bacon in the batter. The bacon gets more chewy and doesn't stay crispy. However, you can fold it in the batter before cooking, if you desire.
