Home Beef Simple Spaghetti Sauce

Simple Spaghetti Sauce

by Laura

Today’s summer meal is prepared on the stove top.  This is a simple spaghetti sauce that I adapted from a friend of mine.  The original recipe was from her grandma.  This version includes 3 canned tomato items – crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato soup.  The hardest part of this recipe is letting it simmer for 20 minutes.  I usually serve this simple spaghetti sauce over angel hair pasta.  My family likes that pasta better, plus it only takes a few minutes to cook.

Also, head on over to Megan’s Munchies to checkout a review of my upcoming cookbook!  Plus Jamie from Jamie Cooks It Up is giving you a sneak peak with one of the cookbook recipes along with giving away a copy today too.  So head on over there for a chance to win a copy!

I think that homemade sauce is the way to go and a nice twist to sauce is the one I use https://thatszogood.wordpress.com/2011/08/05/fail-proof-tomato-sauce/ its light, easy and great for summer.

sounds wonderful, I like the addition of tomato soup that is interesting, I will leave out the sugar tho, hubby doesn’t like even the slightest sweet in his sauce, I can’t wait to try this! I’m so excited for you and your cookbook!

Meaty red spaghetti sauce sings to my soul innards and leaves me breathless. And speechless. And blind.
It’s absolute true love.
