Raspberry Butter

If I am ever in the area of Logan, Utah I absolutely have to eat at Maddox Restaurant in Brigham City. They have some good down home cookin’. Being the bread lover that I am, I absolutely love their rolls and raspberry butter. So if anyone out there has I similar recipe for the rolls, I’d love to have it. I have looked and tried, but can’t find anything close to their roll recipe.

Now on to the other delicious things that they serve with their rolls is raspberry butter. I have made my own version of it and it’s so simple. It’s a nice addition to any roll or scone. You could use seeded jam. The seedless is what makes it like the butter at Maddox and it looks prettier too.

Here is what you need to make the

Raspberry Butter

  • BUTTER
  • SEEDLESS RASPBERRY JAM

Raspberry Butter

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup seedless raspberry jam

 


Instructions

  1. Whip butter with a mixer until light and fluffy. Then mix in the jam.

I had the yummy rolls with raspberry butter. When I asked for the recipe. They told me the same as you have listed BUT added honey to the mix!

I LOVED this. I think I am the only one in my family who did though. I ate it with rolls and then on scones. I especially liked it on the scones.

Oh me oh my that looks yummy! I just found your site; these recipes are great. I started my own recipe site a few months ago but haven’t taken the time to post much to it since I spend lot of time with my “regular” blog ~ anyway thanks for the great ideas!

my friend anna makes cranberry butter that is so tasty too! i’m not sure how she makes it but i’m sure its a similar process. 🙂

I’ve never been to that restaurant, but I’m sure with you on the bread thing! That’s why I can’t fly with total carb free diets – I like my carbs and I LOVE my breads. And I sure love my buttah too!! Just about any kind of flavored butter is good for me too – I really love honey butter on biscuits but wow, raspberry really sounds fantastic Laura! Thanks for sharing that!
