by Laura

Its’ gift week here on RMK. I am gonna help you figure out what to give those people that you still have on your list with my favorite things Christmas shopping list 2016. I have some homemade ideas this week but I am starting of the week with this list of some of my favorite things that you can pick up at the store.

Favorite Things Gift Guide 2016| realmomkitchen.com

CC Cable Knit Slouch Beanie Cap and/or Touch Screen Gloves  – Right now, these are my favorite winter hat and gloves! These are great as a gift separate or together as a set. I like the double set for the Beanie. Both are right around $15.

Blanket Scarf | realmomkitchen.com

Blanket Scarf – This is the style of scarf to have this year and I have a few. There are so many fun colors and patterns to choose from and costs around $10-$15. I own the one pictured.

Instant Pot | realmomkitchen.com

Instant Pot – This is the new think in the cooking world. It’s a pressure cooker. It’s like using a slow cooker but it cooks much faster. I don’t own one but I know people who do and love it. It’s on my Christmas list this year and I have an in with Santa. There’s a pretty good chance I will get this on Christmas morning. A good price is $100 for this and I have seen it on Costco. On Black Friday you could find this for a steal of a deal at $60.

Sheet Pan with Lid | realmomkitchen.com

Sheet Pan with Lid – If you have a sheet pan without a lid, you are missing out! I use mine all the time and say it’s a must have for any one who bakes! Cost is around $20.

K Bell Sherpa Lined Slipper Socks | realmomkitchen.com

K Bell Sherpa Slipper Socks – These are my favorite slipper socks. I picked up a 2 pack for my daughter and I from Costco for $10. They keep your feet warm and cozy without the bulk of a regular slipper but are much more cozy than regular socks. They have so slipper grippers on the bottom too. If you can’t get these exact kind, there are all other kinds out there like these that I am sure that you can find.

Quirkle | realmomkitchen.com

Qwirkle – We just learned about this game recently at a friends house. The beat way I can describe this game is like dominos but even better. This is on my list for Santa to bring our family so we can have it at our home to play as a family. You can pick this up for about $25.

EnacFire Lightning Cables | realmomkitchen.com

EnacFire Lightning Cable set – anyone who owns a smart phone can always use some new or extra cables. Some of mine have shorts or the cord is ripping at the connection. This set comes with 3 different lengths and are covered with a nylon braid for dual protection. They are also high speed charging. Cost is around $15.

Heartland DVD | realmomkitchen.com

Heartland DVD series season 1 of give the first 4 seasons  – My daughter and I love this show. Some seasons can be viewed on Netflix or Amazon through an UP subscription. This is a show from Canada and is now available in the US expect on the 2 places I mention or on DVD. This is a story about a girl named Amy who is a “horse whisperer” and her family. Another good option is a Hallmark show called  When Calls the Heart. This is another fav for my daughter and I. This is a show similar to Little House on the Prairie and was developed by Michael Landon’s son Michael Jr.

Kirkland Lotion | realmomkitchen.com

Kirkland Body Lotion – This is my favorite body lotion. You can get it at Costco but if you don’t have a Costco Membership they do sell it on Amazon. It’s paraben-free and is made with 100% pure plant extracts. It has a long list of wonderful things that it does for your skin and I love the smell. I can get 2 (22 oz) bottles at Costco for $10.

Stephen's Hot Cocoa Mix | realmomkitchen.com

Stephens Hot Cocoa Milk Chocolate Flavor is my go to hot cocoa mix if I’m not making my own! This is a company that started in Utah and makes the best cocoa mix in my opinion. The good old milk chocolate flavor is wonderful but the Mint Truffle and Candy Candy Flavors are also my favorites. Price with vary on this depending on where you are able to get it, but is under $15.

Home Free | realmomkitchen.com

Home Free CD – this group is one that my husband recently discovered on iMusic. It’s an accapella group that sings country. So think of a country version of Penatonix.  They also have Country Evolution in addition to 2 Christmas CD’s Full of Cheer and Full of (Even More) Cheer. Any of them are wonderful if you like country.

Cuisinart Belgian Waffle Maker | realmomkitche.com

Cuisinart Belgian Waffle Maker – a good Belgian waffle iron is so worth having. Unfortunately, the one I love from Villaware is no longer available, but Cusinart is the next best thing. The kind that rotate really do make a difference! Every kitchen should have one in my opinion. Then you can make one of my 3 favorite waffle recipes – weekday waffles, tender sour cream waffles, or waffles of insane greatness.

Carbon's Golden Pancake and Waffle Mix | realmomkitchen.com

Carbon’s Golden Pancake and Waffle Mix – This goes great to give with a waffle make or just by itself if you aren’t up to making your own waffle mix. I have been to many a hotel that uses this mix to make waffles and I love the results. Now I think my homemade waffles are the beat, but this is a great mix version.
