Today, I have some fun and inexpensive Christmas gift ideas for 2023. Many of you know my youngest and only daughter is on the spectrum. She is currently in a post high school program.

She has teachers and classroom aides that we like to give gifts to. I also work in a local high school library and like to give a little gift to the ladies I work with. We decided to do the same gift for both.

We settled on purse sized lotion for our the first inexpensive Christmas gift ideas for 2023. I picked up some multi packs of Dionis goat milk lotion from Costco.

I purchased them in November when they had them on sale. My store here still has them, they just are full price now. Any small lotion you can find for your budget will work.

I found a free printable tags from Mama Cheaps to use for them. I already had some 5 x 11 cellophane bags from Amazon.

They were too large for the lotions, but I simply folded the bag in half and secured it with a small piece of tape. The bags also came with some metallic twist ties so we used those to close the bags with the tag. So simple!

For the next inexpensive gift, my daughter wanted some gifts for her girlfriends. I purchased an advent calendar of Burt Bee’s lip balm from Sam’s club.

It made them a great price per lip balm. I also got it on a sale. It had some incredibly fun festive flavors like fruit cake and cranberry spritz.

I found this cute free printable card from The Savvy Sparrow. Then we attached the lip balm to the card with some coordinating washi tape. Then we placed them inside the same 5 x 11 cellophane bags from Amazon. Tied them off with the metallic twist ties included with the bags.

Last, I have someone I wanted to do something a little special for this year.

I wanted to do a 12 days of Christmas for this person. I settled on doing a Nativity 12 days of Christmas . For this I used some free printables from Over the Big Moon.

I purchased some 3 x 4 cellophane bags for the Nativity pieces. I needed a large bag for the nativity scene, so I used a large cellophane bag that I already had. The printable includes bag topper for these.

I purchased this puzzle Nativity in the small size from Amazon. It was on sale but typically costs about $10. Make sure to get the small size for it to work with the bags I shared along with the printables.

I added more pieces to the 12 days set. These included a camel with a wise man and a star with baby Jesus.

This printable also includes a scripture card to go with each nativity piece. I put the pieces in small bags and added a scripture tag. Then, I placed them in cellophane bags from Amazon, like the ones I used for the other gifts. Again, I used the metallic twist ties to tie them off.

I also printed off a picture of the Nativity puzzle to include with the last day. This way if the person has any trouble putting the puzzle together, they can refer to the picture.
