Creating this cozy caramel apple cider couldn’t be simpler – it truly comes together in moments! Just take some of that delectable cinnamon caramel apple dip. Stir it thoroughly into a steaming mug of your favorite hot apple cider until it’s completely dissolved. The drink transforms into a rich, golden elixir.

But why stop there? For an extra layer of indulgence and a touch of visual appeal, top your warm concoction with a fluffy cloud of whipped cream. And for the ultimate flourish, take a bit more of that luscious caramel apple dip and drizzle it artfully over the whipped cream. It creates a beautiful swirl of flavor that promises a truly delightful sip.

  • DRY APPLE CIDER MIX (OR EQUAL AMOUNT OF APPLE CIDER OR JUICE)
  • CINNAMON CARAMEL APPLE DIP
  • REDI WHIP

Dissolve the Cider: In your favorite mug, pour the very hot water over the apple cider mix. Stir well until the powder is completely dissolved, releasing that wonderful apple aroma.

Infuse with Caramel Goodness: Add 2-3 tablespoons of the cinnamon caramel apple dip to the hot cider. Stir thoroughly until the dip is fully melted and beautifully blended into the cider, creating a rich and flavorful base. Allow the hot cider to cool slightly for a minute or two. This will prevent the whipped topping from melting too quickly.

Prepare the Caramel Drizzle: While the cider is cooling, take a zipper-top sandwich bag. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the cinnamon caramel apple dip into it. Press out any excess air and seal the bag securely. Using a pair of scissors, carefully snip off a very small corner of the bag. This will create a makeshift piping bag for your caramel drizzle.

Top it Off: Once the cider has cooled slightly, generously top it with a swirl of Redi Whip. Gently squeeze the bag of cinnamon caramel dip. Using the snipped corner to pipe a beautiful and delicious drizzle of caramel over the whipped topping. Get creative with your swirls and patterns!

Sip and Savor: Grab your mug and find a cozy spot. Enjoy every warm, sweet, and spiced sip of your homemade hot cinnamon caramel apple cider!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use regular caramel dip if I can’t find the cinnamon version?
Yes, you can definitely use regular caramel dip. The drink will still be delicious, just without the added cinnamon spice. You could consider adding a pinch of ground cinnamon directly to the cider if you’d like that warm flavor.

Can I use apple juice instead of cider mix?
Yes, you can use apple juice for a richer apple flavor. Heat the apple juice until it’s hot, but not boiling, and then stir in the cinnamon caramel dip. You might need to adjust the amount of dip to reach your desired sweetness.

Can I make a larger batch of this drink?
Absolutely! To make a larger batch, simply multiply the ingredients by the number of servings you need. Heat the water or apple juice in a larger pot, then whisk in the desired amount of cinnamon caramel dip until fully dissolved. Keep it warm in a slow cooker or on low heat.

My caramel dip isn’t dissolving easily. What can I do?
Ensure your water or cider is very hot. Stir vigorously and for a longer time. If it’s still not fully dissolving, you can try microwaving the mug for 10-15 seconds (being careful as it will be hot) and then stirring again.

Can I add other spices to this drink?
Yes, feel free to enhance the flavor with other warm spices like a pinch of ground nutmeg, allspice, or cloves. Add them to the hot water before stirring in the cider mix and caramel dip.

What if I don’t have Redi Whip?
The drink is still delicious without Redi Whip. You could also try a dollop of vanilla ice cream or a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar as an alternative.
